Kajsa had her millionth b-day party on the 10th of December. Here's one of the pics out of the set. Should be able to click on the pic to see the set.

Quin - 1yr Old
On the 6th of November, Quin turned 1 years old. Still isn't walking, but he's dangerously fast at crawling. He'll easily be walking before X-mas.

Quin can climb
Quin has been climbing up on Kajsa's rocking chair and either violently rocking back and fourth until the chair falls back on him, or he uses it as a step to his next climbing adventure. Waiting for injury to occur when we aren't looking.
Helpin' with the dishes
Quin has been fixated on helping out with the dishes, so Elise finally relented and let him get his hands dirty

Almost 11 months
11 months old next week, this little guy has taken some bumps and bruises as he gets accustomed to being on his feet. I'm not sure if this dude will be walking by the time he hits the big 1, but he's lately been pretty quick to learn new tricks, so who knows.

Quinny Close-up
Just in case you haven't seen his mug up close in a while. This is what his personality is like, in a nutshell. This one is going to be a clown, much like his older sister.

2008 Harvest and August pictures
Quin had a pretty productive month, he mastered the art of mobility, in which crawling and climbing came hand in hand. Towards the end of the month his 2 top front teeth started to cut through, and that has wreaked a little havoc on us all. Quin is picking up on things at an alarming rate, with the help of his busy little sis, Kajsa. With cold weather rolling in, Kajsa still thinks tank tops and skirts are appropriate, it's going to take a little re-wiring to right the ship.

Quinny, nearly 8 months
Sunday, July 6th, the big Q will turn 8 months of age. We still don't have him crawling yet, but I get the feeling it's right around the corner. He's got 2 front teeth on the bottom, and an eye tooth on top, with another one coming (we think). I'm almost certain he can't wait to sink his teeth into Kajsa's hand and arms, which are constantly wrapped around him (whether he likes it or not).
Kajsa at the park
The look on her face pretty much tells you the story of what Kajsa is like in her 3s. Terrible 2s are nothing compared to 3s, especially with this child. We pray Quin will be a little less "busy".
Quin at the park
Quin and Kajsa at the park. Q, as you can see, likes the swing. Kajsa wasn't in the best of moods.

Quin @ 6 months
From 2008 May Quin... |
This should have been posted last month, as the big Q is now 7 months old. But my blogger isn't communicating very nicely with Picasa (please fix Google!).
Anyway, clicking on the link SHOULD take you to an album of the many different faces of Quin (all with his very big 1/4 blue / 3/4 brown eyes).

We're still here!
Sorry it's been so long. We've weathered kidney stones (Elise), bad colds (Kajsa, Mommy, and it's coming on to Daddy)... but we're still keepin' on. Quinny the pooh is still a fair bit finicky with the bottle, but he isn't bitter about it anymore.

Keep moving foward
Sure, they look cute and cuddly. But sadly, both of them are(were) monsters. The past 3 weeks, Quin has been fighting the bottle from his daddy-oh. Meanwhile, Kajsa's been trying to pull some strings more often than not.... jumping at the chance to take advantage of any parental struggle (she'll make a brilliant sociopath someday). On Friday however, February 8th... Dr. Brown's bottles came in via UPS, and changed everything. Quin only reluctantly takes the bottles after 3-5 minutes of whining, instead of 60 minutes of screaming bloody murder. All is well again, and we keep moving foward (we recently watched Meet the Robinson's on DVD with Kajsa).
